NICEE 2017: Hotels, Transportation, and Food
NICEE 2017 Hotels, Transportation, and Food
Transportation
Transportation to and from Washington D.C. is not included in the NICEE registration fee. Please coordinate with your delegation leaders on the best transportation method for you.
Due to the cost of air travel, bus transportation is suggested for all affiliates with less than an 8-hour drive time to Washington D.C. It is suggested that states such as New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut, South Carolina should expect to have a full bus or travel with another state in their bus.
For those traveling by air, Reagan National Airport is the most convenient arrival destination. Consult your hotel for transportation suggestions from the airport to the hotel. All hotels are centrally located to the King Street Metro Station.
Convention Hotels
Attendees are encouraged to book reservations at following hotels to take advantage of the negotiated rates.
Lodging Costs
Hotels will be assigned to each delegation and a reservation link will be sent via email to the delegation leader for distribution.
The negotiated NICEE rate is $179/night + taxes and fees ($205.96) and is available May 31 thru June 3.

Food-Allergic Individuals: Be aware that vendors we are working with handle and prepare egg, milk, wheat, shellfish, fish, soy, peanut, and tree nut products, and other potential allergens in the food production areas of their facility. Students and their chaperons need to be fully aware of any student’s restrictions and plan accordingly. NICEE Staff will work to accommodate individual concerns as best we can, but cannot control the operational restaurant environments where we are trying to feed 700 people all at once.
